Tea Safety & Sustainability
Below are some of are common questions about tea safety and sustainability
What is the shelf life of teas? How should I store after opening?
Unopened teas last 18-24 months. After opening:
A cool pantry or cupboard is perfect.
Reseal in original foil pouches away from light/humidity
- Green and White teas will lose their freshness most quickly. We recommend consuming these teas within 2 months from the time you first open the package. Using Botanical teas within 4 months of opening, for the best flavor.
How do you practice sustainability?
Our tea sachets are made from a plant-based material called polylactic acid (or PLA for short). PLA is made by breaking down starches found in plant sources like corn and sugarcane.
